  1. Hi guys, my lt95 gearbox (not installed to a vehicle) has a 5mm play in the handbrake drum. Is this normal? If not, can I easily fix this? Cheers, Finn
  2. Hi, guys, I am looking for new seals for the UJ's of my fairey winch. Are these single seals for sale? Or do I need to buy the whole cross and replace it? I had a look at the cups. They are in a good shape, no needles are missing. So it would be great if there is an address where to order these. Cheers, Finn

    PTO TD5?

Sorry to dig this up again.. Is there anyone sure that this pto does not fit the td5? Thanks, Finn
  4. nope, this was exactly what I wanted to know Cheers, Finn
  5. I will buy one in the near future myself. Have been looking (in the internet) at these cranes (see attachment) This is a 2Ton crane like yours. But I was wondering what is its minimum load weight (if you want to lift something, which is far away). There are, I believe, 4 different distance points where you can lift something. Will I be able to lift an engine at all points of distance? Cheers, Finn

  12. Hi guys, I am looking for the manual (original or PDF) from the capstan winch which came with the 110 coast guard and RRC vehicles. See attachment. I already have the manuals for the normal series capstan winches. Many thanks for your help. Cheers, Finn

  14. Yeah I am thinking of doing that.. So these balls cannot fall out when overloaded? They stay in the pto..? Cheers, Finn
  15. Are you referring to ball partnr. 35? Cheers, Finn
  16. Ok, I added some drawings out of a parts book I found on my harddrive. Lets say you have pulled something way too heavy. Do you need to replace anything, or is it just a case of putting everything (the balls) back at its place and tighten the nut? Cheers, Finn
  17. Well, I found some at blanchards. I have a side question. How does this work on a defender PTO, does these also have shear pins? Have never seen one.. Cheers, Finn
  18. yeah, I was too lazy to remove it when I bought the car 6 years ago. And now I am kind of used to it Cheers, Finn

  20. Yes, the original one is out of brass.. I broke it yesterday by hand when I added the extra drive flange for the back..
  21. If I take normal bolts, do I have to make a 'break-line'? Or can I just take the bolt and hope it breaks 'somewhere'? Cheers, Finn
  22. Does anyone know what kind of bold I could use instead of a shear pin? Cheers, Finn
