I'm thinking of mounting my spare wheel on the roof of my hicap, i have a rear door wheel mount and plates just wonderd if this was ok to use as the tyre is quite big/heavy 275/75 /16 insa sahara cheers
Have a look at master cylinder, than work your way through the whole system ie, all break unions and cylinders i think you have a leak just look for signs of weeping at all the break unions and pipes. good luck
looking to exchange a td19j for a 200tdi is there any changes i will need to make re radiator/oil cooler ect any advice would be great the tdi is from a defender and is going in a 110 county cheers
the filler we use is called easifill it rubs down fairly easily and has plenty of give, ie not very brittle so it dos not crack,2pack primer is the best/hardest around so use that if you can just remember to clean spray gun out after using it good. luck
i had just the same thing the bearings in the transfer box end of the front prop uj had gone,replaced uj and chirpy/squeek was cured but had to replace oil seal in transfer box as vibration from knackerd uj popped it as stated before cheak the uj,s for play good luck
hi have just registered i own a hicap defender which i use as everyday transport in my job and at home and she is best might not be the fastest most comfortable 4x4 on the road but with regular lubrication she just keeps on going
