I will of course I've order a torque wrench and hub nut socket so that I can tighten the bearing to specification. It should arrive during the week and I soon as I get it done I'll let you know and Also if it sort out my spongie brake Regards thierry

the knock start about 2 days ago and i've check the bearing there's no obvious noise sound ok.that's a new cv i've replace about 2 month ago.the noise is when i'm drive more on the coubtry road but on good roads it sound good! there's some grease coming out from the flange when i remove the dust cap. i'm wondering if it's the cv or something else1 there's new shock on it. i've notice that the noise started pretty much at the same time that i have to start pumping several times on my brake pedal for my brakes to be efficient. brake fluid level is ok. there's new disc, pads, and caliper. everything seems tight and no loose bolt etc. but i coiuld have gone wrong somewhere. but i've change them only a couples of month ago and it was fine it just started now. thanks for any advice guys you are very helpful thierry

hey guys, i've noticce the last 2 days that there's a knock noise comig from the driver side. i've remove the dust cap then i notice that the cv joint end where you have the circlip can be move back or forwardbut the flange is tight. anyone have any ideas? i was thinking it might be my wheel bearing loose or maybe the cv came loose on the shaft and is not being hold by the clip on the shaft!!! does that make any sense. i just want to get an idea before i stip anything. thanks thierry

hi there there's a kind of a sueezing or whistling noise whenever i'm turning the steering on complete lock either right or left. do you think thats comin from the steering box does it need maintenace? the power steering pump is new. thanks thierry

Hi I still have some vibration the rear prop seem to have a little play the uj were done a couple of weeks ago I'm wondering if I could remove it and test the truck on a short distance to see if it's definitely the back one causing it?

Hi guys, does anyone know how I can prime or bleed my fuel system after replacing the fuel tank as my mechanical lever doesn't seem to be working at all there's no resistance when I'm trying to level it! Thanks

Hi thanks again for the reply. I've tried yesterday but with no luck I'll try again this evening won't give up try the hot air. What about a hair dryer!! Will that any help? Any also I connect my winch to my battery yesterday with the landy on but it drain the battery completely! Is it better to connect it directly to the terminar with a kill switch or there's a better way? How does the kill switch work if you remove the plug does it cut your landy as well or just the winch? hi there i just found that i've got a really bad leak on my fuel tank. so i just order a new one is there any thread of how to replace it? or what must i be aware of when doing it like the fuel pump or anything like that! thanks a mil

hi thanks for the reply. yeah it seems that the shoes are badly worn coze everytime i hit the brake i can hear a really like scratchy noise!!! i guess it's rusted on the plate. if i manage to get it off i'll check the adjuster. is it hard to replace the adjuster i found a kit for it so i'm just wondering if it's worth replacing while i'm doing the shoes? thanks thierry

hi there i'm trying to replace my rear break shoes on my landy 90 but can't get the drum off it both of them seems stuck. i'm remove the screw but still seems to be stuck even wit a hammer anyone have an idea i've put loads of wd40.... also the adjuster screw when i turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise it never stop keep turning.do you think it need replacement? thanks for your advice

It's a 90 2.5 TD 1988. Is the X-brake just a direct replacement or is it tricky to put it on! And where can I order one? Thanks again

Hi there me again! Since I bought my landy the handbrake hasn't been working. It fine leaving it on gear but now I need to get my doe so I was wandering if there's any thread of how to overhaul and how to replace the handbrake cable and shoes. I'm suspecting a cable which is not link somewhere as I don't have that much resistance when pulling the leveller! Any Advice please thanks

hi thanks for the reply. both brake disc are new. and bearing are supposeto be new. i have'nt done it myself and i won't be suprise if they have'nt done it. but i'll check it. i'll say it's the prop which need to be align or wheel need balancing as it was sand blast recently for respraying. so i'll check that today thanks a mil thierry

hi there it's me again. my landy is vibrating a lot when i'm around 50km/hr.everytime i push on the gas it vibrate more and if i lift off my foot it stop even if i'm pretty much the same speed! if you know what i mean. i've change my cv joint coze it was gone but the circlip is not on at the end of the hub!!!! is that of any issue!! i've done my UJ'S on my rear prop both! the front one there was no play so i did'nt change any but do you think it might be my front prop causing the vibration or is it my cv!! any help thanks a lot thierry

Hi there does anyone know what's the part number for an air filter assembly box? Landy is a 90 2.5 TD I've realise that I can put the air filter as there's nowhere to put the element! The turbo was connected directly to the snorkle!! I don't know if that's good doesn't seems to me! I might be wrong! Any help. Thanks thierry
