  1. I too have a 300tdi and its always been fine starting until this last week, when temps have dropped. Cranked but not start this morning. Had to keep turning key til the heater plugs kicked in, switch off, then repeat for 10 mins then finally she started after flattening battery. Bought some more heater plugs today n will fit 'em tomorrow then let you know if this has cured cold starting problem. Hope it'll help.

  2. Hi i also have an ezi-awn and like other think they are brilliant. Very chunky zips and tough fabric, only let down is like others say, the cover. I got qyoted £250 for a genuine ezi-awn replacement cover but in the end got one made locally for £80.

A friend of mine has a myway on his 90 which he says is rather good although after 2 years he says an entry and cover zip need replacing.

Good point was made about going to a show and having a look for yourself and keep eyes peeled on ebay now theres low demand.

    Hope this helps.

    Chris

  3. my local scrappers dont allow you to go prodding around either you tell them what you want they tell you how many DAYS it will take for them to get it off. it is rather disapointing id love to do it myself.

Have you tried Dewsbury Road scrappers in Ossett? As far as i know they still let you have a nosey. Remember changing radiator on my capri outside there many moons ago

  4. I recently got a renewal through Sureterm. As my 110 is heavily modified and i declare everything, they decided i had a max 8000 miles per year when last year(my first with them) i was allowed up to 12000 with no changes to vehicle. Then when policy came through post, no no claims protection. This wasn't mentioned in the phone call setting up the policy but guy on phone reckons its part of the script they use. Had no claims protection with 'em last year. I won't be using 'em again as i don't trust 'em anymore. Looks like they treat you ok 1st year then try n screw ya. Rant over!

  5. Hi, i do a bit of camping in my 110. It had aluminised bubble wrap when i got it, not that good to be honest. Planning on painting on anti-condensation paint then glueing eva sheets used in horses boxes on top of that. This is obviously easier to use than camping mats and not a lot moe expensive. Was then going to fit ply trimmed with some leather loook vinyl i got from dunelm mills dirt cheap. Should look proper bo when finished me hopes. Hope this helps.
