just remember on prts `you get what you pay for`..so i agree, buy landy parts from landy dealers, and yes check ebay first cos we all know how expensive landy parts can be! stripped mine down today...as they were sticking when Hbrake is applied, everything looked ok, cleaned them and lubed all the springs etc.... AJ

.. went to get my 2 front wheels balanced today, and was told by the guy that owns the place i should take out the prop` shaft and just have the freelandy as a front wheel drive car, increasing the mpg. anyone done this?....or heard about this being done? thanks. AJ

...drove back home to witney nr oxford yesterday with the kids for xmas, started snowing on M1 at Liecester, still snowing at A43/M1 junction at Northampton, A43 got steadily worse the further we got towards the M40...which ended up as a car park, so took the A4095 across country to witney...BOY i love beening back in a landy! The most fun drive back i`ve had, 4x4 rocks! felt guilty passing people, especially the snow plough on the A43!! :lol:

ok guys got one!..2001 ES; afew `niggles` with it, wipers-dont return to `park` after using them on single pass or on intermitant wipe? folding wing mirrors-drivers side folds, are not them both supposed to fold? apart from that thats it, head gasket etc has been done and is in the service history. hi all, looking buying a freelander around a 2000 model or younger, i have £2000 to spend plus my 96 mondeo to px. Freelander Serengeti?...seen one of these i quite fancy in Birmingham, is it a speacial edition? anyway is there anything i should know, or look for?....anyhelp is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
