AWDC Challenge North West Round 4 Coney Green 4th Nov 12
3spins replied to Boothy's topic in Competing in Land Rovers
With the damage of broken shafts, steering wheel and punctures decided to start the winter strip down early, so won't be able to make this event, sorry Chris. Looks like spending some money and purchasing some ashcroft shafts. Going to move the rad and shorten the front, maybe move the axle forward as well. Move the rear axle back and extend the trailing arms to the middle. -

What can I say, I put an engine and box in from my own daily runner so I know it's good and NEVER let me down and what's it done let me down Thanks for everyone's help and what we saw from the 3 punches we tried to get to, they were well set out for us, come away with only 2 punched though . Finally got it running somewhere right at around 3pm but decided to call it a day, once again thanks to all the organiser's and those that helped us out, got an elecy pump here from someone to give back. We still had a laugh though that's the main thing  Thanks to All -

I'll follow the orange Arrows Truck dried out and repaired so ready to go, I think. Looking forward to this one not been there for ages. :hysterical: take a bit more than that 'reel em in a bit more' I've used solvent joints on the roll cage as they don't do a 50mm push in fitting. Hope this will be ok for scrutaneering

We got fed up of Play days with idiots racing round without a care in the world so we set up our own club so at least then were all like minded idiots. RoguePirates4x4.co.uk We book offroad sites for ourselves and set out punches for more of a challenge and a laugh. Free to join site, sign up and have a look around. Gaz.

That's how I started, went to a few play days where punches had been set out and realised I needed to build a better truck Then entered a few challenge events one with LRS who then pointed me in the right direction with the Regs, it's alot to get your head round. By this time I was hooked and a year later I think I'm ready to kick some ass in the LRS challenge(my co-drivers) Your more than welcome to see what is all about with some of us nr Matlock Gaz.
