  1. Not knowing the area, would it be ok to come from Biddulph off the A527 along Mow lane? Or is this still a tight corner to get round to come down to site entrsnce. Thanks Gaz.
  2. Yes Matt Tim is coming spoke to him yesterday
  3. I'm in and I think I've secured a new winch bitch, maybe for next year as well. Need to brake him in slowly. Have we got a postcode for the site Matt?
  4. All sorted and ready to go Matt, but you've got us down as 26. I Was running 16 in the Orange Jago. 26 was Si's number when I bitched for him at Clyro before it broke
  5. Si? he's the co-driver. It's Gary matt we'll be taking Charles's advice and doing more driving than winching (heavier right foot I think) Have rebuilt both axles after brakeing another Halfshaft, wondering if it's worth purchasing HeavyDuty shafts?
  6. We'll be there Matt and the missis is going to winch for me, but we'll try and keep out the way Still saving the pennies to come due to an overspend on the truck
  7. Comeing from the KitCar side of things into the 4x4 scene we always had close contact with VOSA and I have to agree with simonr, a chassis is from the front to the back inclusive of any overhang from the axles. Basicly if you alter any part or even weld a patch over a hole in the chassis legally it needs to be retested and a MOT inspector can if he wants, refuse to test it and can report it to VOSA. At the end of the day they are closeing in on all 4x4's Shhhhh, and through the back door from VOSA (whisper ) they are looking at making all 4x4's class7 MOT from 2012
  8. At the moment we've planned on attending but can't be deffinate until closer to the date. Working on some improvements to the Jago
  9. Thanks for a cracking weekend, spot on with the punches. Shame the truck gave up with a naffed clutch but at least we had chance to watch Sunday a bit to see how it should been done. Looking forward to the rest and we'll see you at Wern Ddu. Gaz.
  10. We'll be there Friday night, what time is anybodies guess reckon it'll be about 9pm. Class 3? built my mate a class3 truck and he's coming down the weekend to see what is all about, so maybe round 5 and 6 Bob
  11. Matt were in for both days dude, but not getting paid till Thurs/Fri to do online payment. Be down Friday evening sometime. This be ok?
  12. Thanks for the warm welcome again to a well executed event. Spent most the time on the trailer fixing truck. CV, rear shaft and power steering so we were pleased with what we did. See you at Clyro but I'll be bitching this time
  13. Not sure now wether to come up on the Saturday and sleep in motor or get up early on the day. Never been to site before so looking forward to it.
