Ok whats the best way to check if you have a reduced efficiency on a 300tdi radiator having cooling issues and wondering if bars fluid has blocked me radiator??

Hmmm horse's for course's i had a swb IIA before and had no room for my gear (rubbish) now i have the 110 and still have no room (but can carry more rubbish) but the 110 is a lot more use when it's clear and it used to make up to a decent double bed which we used for holiday's for 5 years (whith caranex on the back for cooking etc) AAAaaahh happy memories

Anybody heard of anyone doing this seen one today looked like a job in progress?? Still in primer i think it was on a "T" plate as in 1978? so just wondered if it was a range rover chassis with discovery TD5 Body's???

I keep trying to find the leaflet's i had on the subject but i seem to remember that on diesel's the steam injection ensure's you use more of the fuel thats injected and less waste cause lets be honest i don't now about you lot but my Land rover flies when it's slightly damp i'll keep digging through me archives...

A few years ago i almost went to work for a firm that did steam injection to improve emission's and power they went bust(the boss was spending money the firm hadn't got!!) just wondered if anyone knows anyone who does it still, they used to run a 110 200tdi CSW and it used to go very well with no smoke and pretty good mpg it's a shame it never took off they had a couple of unit's fitted to london buses and taxis the emission where reduced by at least 50%...

here's a question then what's the top speed for a 300tdi with standard ratio's and the sat nav speed not speedo i have had about 87/90 out of mine which is about 95 on the speedo??

Or i could just stop trying to beat car drivers who annoy me and stick to 70mph (or 60mph for mpg)

I am running 265/75r16 and it's runnig out of puff at higher speeds than 70 i know it's not perticular legal but if i floor it out of overdrive it does 80/85 and then drop the overdrive in and it won't go any more it just sits there??? yet with the disco gearing she'd do 90+..

Hi there i'am running a 300tdi with standard defender gearing and GKN overdrive and i find i am running out of puff at higher speed's i used to run discovery gearing and could go faster and seemed to get better to the gallon can you run disco gearing and the over drive or is this just total overkill? or am i better off just going back to disco gearing and flog the gkn??

Mine is 1988 110 in Shire Blue.. could be similar to yours dew110???
