  3. I have just fitted an LG unit to the wifes car it reads mp3 cds and has input for ipod , but hte best thing is it only cost £69.99 at the mow at halfords
  4. Hi i have a sony unit that plays both DVD and cd and to be honest when you fill a DVD with mp3s it takes forever and a day to read them before playing the disc . Paul

  9. Just starting to rebuild my 3.5 v8 and both the su carbs need a overhaul, so got to thinking maybe i would go the way of a webber or holly any feed back would be very helpful Thanks

  11. I don't know if there still on offer but they were doing a deal about a month ago with a chest full of tools for £199, all the tools and chest were from the Halfords pro range
  12. My flywheel has lots of tiny cracks on it , so i would like to know if it would be ok to use like that ? If not were can i have it refaced in hertfordshire ?

  14. Well mine goes through the bulkhead without any grommets just the metalwork rubbing away , and the fuse box is just 3 fuses not sure what thats from
  15. well i am learning because the loom in mine is one piece there is no plug to join the engine to the main loom the guy who put it together just joined the 90 loom to the rrc loom and cut a large hole in the bulkhead
  16. Yes i will be have a good look at it before hand , the loom on it at the moment is a mix and match of a 90 and rrc loom and is joined using sellotape ! so i would have to go a long way to find one that was worse
  17. yes i do agree that sometimes the dealer is the best way , however i really do need the bulkhead dash and loom so it just works out much cheaper to buy it as one unit second hand .

Would love some advice on a wiring loom for v8 90 , i need to replace the bulkhead and wanted to buy a complete bulkhead ie dash loom ect from a diesel , as the loom i have at the moment is a fire waiting to happen . how much would i need to change the diesel loom to work with i 3.5 v8 . has anyone done this job ? any advice would be a great help thanks
