I need a pair of treesliders for my 110 (otherwise my girlfriend can't get in the car ), but they only seem to exist for a 90, not for a 110 (equipe is not within my budget...) any idea where I could find a pair at an acceptable price?

well, L8 used to have a really bad name, but it is a fancy neighbourhood now (at least the part around Princes and Sefton Park, where I live). Still, I'll look into a steering wheel or pedal lock, but I don't want to spend like 400 pounds on that

well, I do have axle stands and a high lift, so it is really for the small jobs at home I'd need the trolley jack. hmm, I'll post a WTB

thanks for the excellent replies. I'll definitely contact this local landrover club as for safety: my 110 is not a beauty, so that helps. The wolf wheels are secured with locking nuts, and I have a (hidden) battery switch. Still looking for something like a bullock pedal lock, but they are hard to find for landrovers (the GB1 type). And the vehicule is kept off the road, on a private parking (not visible from the street). I am near Sefton Park (L8)

I will be needing a trolley jack for the upcoming jobs on my 110. Unfortunately I am on a very very tight budget. Any good deals around? What would be the minimum requirements?

thanks Les, I know most of the repairs on a LR are straigthforward, but I am new at this, so for most jobs, I will need somebody to at least show me what to do and how to do it (the tech archive looks brilliant, but English is not my first language, so I am not familiar with most of the technical terms...). Hi, I just moved to the UK (Liverpool, to be more specific) this week, from Belgium. I own a UK registered LR 110 (a 1984 HT with 300tdi engine). Now, there are quite a few things that are different in here compared to Belgium, so any information would be welcome. E.g.: - are there any nice greenlanes in the Liverpool area? I know the Lakes and Wales are brilliant, but that would be at least a weekend trip. - to get some more serieus jobs done, I would be looking at a good (and affordable...) independent LR garage. Any suggestions? - good place to get your MoT? Preferably with free retest (you never know with a landy...)? well, anything that could be of interest, really thanks a lot Thomas
