Air Flow Meter

it sounds like you didnt have the rod located in the slave, and have popped the slave out into the bell housing, depends if you can get all the bits back out of the bellhousing
-
and it sounded like you had air in their before it went pop
-
sounds like you have pushed the slave out, was it lined up with the rod in the gearbox ok when you fitted it?
-
Sound like the clutch master cylinder. best replacing it before it gets and worse and fails completly.

We had a fantastic day , the truck ran really well! This round was more like a winch challenge with lots of winching, lots of big pulls, some very good techincal sections.
special stage was also very good.
we were expecting top 3 but not 1st! so we are well chuffed, roll on Slindon, will be an exciting end to the season, from our calculations on the way home we thought that put us 2nd overall aswell on the day.
not to much damage, just a cracked windscreen, snapped waffle and a snapped rope.
something didnt seem right tho, someone was definetly missing.
we didnt stop mark on the a5 as we guessed as we were almost last to leave everyone else would of stopped to check you were ok and saw mr tunnah was with you.

not too bad result for us, 6th in class 2, 7th overall, seens as we lost an hour and a half, with a dodgy cooling fan, which in turn blew the top hose off, then a rock burst the radiator, and we struggled to bleed it properly until we could get on the level, then we picked up a puncture after that, and also lost alot of time stuck behind people on stages!
so overall not too bad a result!
James/Nick you couldnt of got much closer to us than this! i had the prime seat, wish we had an on board camera!
I also had prime seat view of kevs/dans roll in the gulley!
Truck is washed and ready to strip down for maintainance, not too much damage, 1 inner tube, rad will live another day, and a slightly bent gutter bar on the cage!
some sections were very confusing with the tape! i think the numered gates will help, but some very good sections, i very much enjoyed section 5/6!
cya all at corwen!

On the last event of the howlin wolf the scruitineers picked me up on my harness, saying id need to change it! what are the actual requirements?
Ian
-
you will want to get it changed asap as it drips onto the starter motor and i have seen it many times knacker the starter motor
-
the belts are different lengths to suit the 2 sizes of alternator pulleys! might be worth making sure you are using the right one.

Hi Nick
No problem, just down the road from me and will be at round 2!

as dan says, you normally need to tow in gear to build the oil pressure / lifters etc up quicker
