  1. Well, Rear winch tray done and cab now fitted.
  2. Sort of. The photos I do have are of the cutting stage. I have some of the cab in place, but damm phone won't let me upload. I,ll get some on the camera next time I'm at the workshop. It's very slow progress at the mo' due to work and family commitments.
  3. I'm currently doing a Longranger conversion. As obz100 said, good quality kit, requires lots of cutting and trial fitting, but looks great when finally fitted. Mines going to be bobtailed as well as I think the proportions look about right. Just my opinion tho'
  4. Late 300 tdi's had third level brake lights
  5. Sharpies or any good quality felt pen. And as for centre punches you can't beat an old reamer, about 6mm (1/4) with a point ground on it. Lasts for years and they're free, or diesel injector needles, pre sharpened and as hard as a hard thing thats been to a UFC match.
  6. Try this guy. He'll do oil in any quantity and deliver anywhere, pretty cheap too ! http://www.wyseoil.co.uk/index.htm
  7. Hi guys. Anyone got any experience of the Longranger truck cab conversion roof and rear panel? Quality of mold, ease of fitment etc. Seems like a great idea for modding a Disco, but not sure if value for money. Ta
  8. Yes I was bidding on some of that stuff from Jeffersons as they were one of my customers, but most of it went for silly money !! most of the stuff sold for more money than some of the items cost new ?????????
  9. Anyone got any, or know of any, BT 40 or DIN 40 tool holders for sale ? Any tooling would be nice too!!
  10. Hi Guys Got a weird fault on my stereo in my 93 200Tdi. When I switch the stereo on there is no sound coming from the speakers, if I unplug the speaker cable from the rear of the unit and plug it back in again I get sound, If I then turn off the system and back on again I get no sound until I do the speaker cable again. I think there is a speaker amp in the drivers footwell, but the rear speakers are not wired thro this as I have fitted a crossover and tweeters in the front coupled with the speakers in the rear. Any ideas ?
  11. If you read the entry form on the website, it states that you can join the club for this event for £5 if you are not a member of a MSA affiliated club.
  12. Guardian tubular one on mine. Now fitted with 9.5 XP
  13. Hi, have a fuel problem, when rev it up loses power as if fuel starvation, blows out blue smoke and starts to misfire. Today have drained tank, blown all pipes out, new diesel and filter, checked lift pump, checked pipes for leaks and breaks but still the same. So any thoughts, injector pump packing up, head gasket? Cheers Paul
  14. I'm sure you have, but make sure you clean the mating surfaces of the disc and hub on reassembly. A little copaslip on the hub does wonders if you have to change them again.
  15. Well I had a great day. Bitching for Mr Whibly for the first time in my first challenge, and with a good result. Not really knowing what to expect it was a bit of an eye opener, but I can only describe it as an awesome experience. Bring on the next one, hoping it won't be so cold and wet, now that the family jewels have decended to their rightful place.
  16. As above. The aerial base is about 300 mm below the roof line, so it bends out of the way quite well, plus you only have holes in the spare wheel mount.
  17. Possibly the flasher unit ?
  18. I've got one of the Guardian Tubular bumpers on my Disco, And I am impressed with the quality of the welding. The finish isn't all that good, but its bloody hard wearing. If his new style tapered ends bumper is of the same quality then it should be good value for money. Simon
