That is more the solution I am looking for!
Thanks for the help
I now use a 4 position double pole switch but it is limited to 3 possibilities (off-off, on-off, off-on), the on-on is not possible just like that
-
For switching between maps on my td5 I am looking for a turnable switch with 4 positions that can replace 2 off/on switches but without working with diodes or so.
I need:
off/off = standard map
off/on = road fast
on/off = offroad
on/on = 1500 rpm for winching
Current switch I use has 4 positions but I can use only 3 of them

Yeah but an electric winch is the same size as a hydraulic, the cables are easier to connect, route and replace than hoses. It'll be faster and possible more powerful in this instance and cheaper. You'll already have battery's too.
Mike
All true, but once you have an hydraulic winch with proper pump, you never want another one again!
-
If you go hydraulics then go for a pto pump or similar otherwise you never use the full capacities of the winch.

What do you think of this solution?
I have a galva chassis and this way I do not need to weld a plate on it to go the p38 way

Is there an alternative around for the air operated actuators that Blackdown is selling to get freespool/low/high on a Mile marker hydraulic winch?
-
I read a lot of tests from this guy:

Thanks for clarifying

It was sold to Belgium around 2009/2010, the tasc disc or SORN runs out at 04/2010.
So not really a recent issue

I can buy a modified 88 to Tomcat over here in Belgium and as far as I can see it has been registered as a historical car in the UK.
Got a photo of some V11 document but my question is: Is this enough paper to import it in another country?

I use Tinycad to document my electric stuf in the Defender. There are a lot of things available in their library

Anyone here who made himself a freespool on a hydraulic Milemarker?
I have a freespool of a Goodwinch laying around but I have the impression that freespool on a 'normal' winch is engaged by turning an handle in/out contrary to a Milemarker where you pull a pin in/out or am I wrong?
