AWDC at Minehead on 13th July, Wookey (Somerset) 3rd August, a two dayer near Mommouth 24/25th August, and Ebbw Vale 21st September.
Ok not exactly south coast but still 'southern'

With a 25A fuse I'd want at least 33A cable, maybe even 40A depending on how long the run is.
-
I had twin mondeo fans on my V8 90, the low temp one would run most of the time off road, when it had been running for a few hours it would occasionally blow 20A fuse, changed to 25A and it was fine. Each fan was wired/fused independently.

I'd agree with Dan - solid "boots" are the best way.
Yep.
I've had corrosion problems on pro comps both with and without the rubber boots fitted, maybe the quality of the shaft has something to do with it too.

There is a very good wiring diagram that does the series/parallel switching that was done by Bull Bar Cowboy on here. Had a quick look in the tech archive but couldn't see it.
However I never had any problems with twin mondeo fans on a 4.2 V8 wired up as you have, the second fan very rarely came on, one fan was usually sufficient even off road.

Has Chris had an accident yet?

Depending on which way you decide to go I have a complete early 110 axle with AEU2522 CV's. So no need to use the maxi drive kit to fit AEU2522's as it has the correct hubs/stubs/drive flanges etc.

Not enough to let Pugwash use yer bumper dumper

I've been using some Evo-stick ultimate strength adhesive (see below) and some Sikaflex adhesive (512 IIRC) and I can't tell the difference between them. Except the Evo-stick stuff is easily available off the shelf in B&Q.

Looks good Bish.
Now is there anything I can sell you?

yuo'll find a good, used GPSV on ebay for £40
Good luck. I spent ages watching for a GPS V on ebay for sensible money.

So it's not just me then. I thought I must have upset Si

If you go for a dehumidifier then make sure you get one suitable for use in garages/sheds as the normal household ones will freeze up if they are used below about 10°C.

Question is, what did you use on the rear face of the x-member - captive bolts? If not, how did you access?
TD5 rear crossmember has captive nuts anyway.
You could weld some nuts on a backing plate and tack that in place before fitting the guard.
I have some 1/4" plate if needed

Do you need to tow with it locked as well as unlocked? If not mount it upside down.

So, the bottom line is the Bishtail is no more.
That's a real shame
I'd be tempted to consider some of the options mentioned and go for amateur built.

Downloaded and installed here ok.

Mo sums it up well.
Also I found having a co-driver who was of a more cautious disposition than myself (and who's judgement I trusted) meant that I could confidently follow his diretions with worrying what he was putting my or my truck through. And it usually resulted in much less damage than when I was doing my own thing

my new racer is auto and I'm very sceptical about but that could just me getting used to it.
Mate of mine was in a similar situation, he spent a lot of years racing a manual then bought a 'new' racer that had an auto box and he too was very sceptical. No manual valve body or anything flash like that just a ZF box, but after a couple of races he was a convert. Just has to lock it down in to 2nd on the nadgery bits to stop it changing up to 3rd when he eases off - a Jag U-gate shifter helps here. I'd give it a few good goes and see how you like it, that motor should have enough power as sapping a bit of power is the main drawback of an auto IMHO.

Yep, you get a better class of ciderhead in Nailsea
Better class of most things

There's Longlife in South Glous, or a place in Weston (I can't recall the name at the moment) but they tend to do main custom chav bean cans, I guess that's down to the market in Weston.
Edit:
It was www.infinity-exhausts.co.uk that I was thinking about in Weston, although it now appears they are in Yate, similar customer base

After converting my 90 to auto it took me less then 10mins off road to realise I had absolutely made the right decision. All that control without slipping the clutch when winching or rock crawling etc. That was however with a V8.

As to the vandal, the most appropriate punishment would be confiscation of the vehicle concerned - no idea if the law allows for this, but clearly if you can't play nicely with your toys, they should be taken away.
Only after a warning has been given (Police Reform Act 2002 Section 59).

Thanks chaps
Mid-life crisis? Hmm maybe. I just fancied a 'toy' after getting rid of the LR's. Manged to convince the missus this would be cheaper, well I should get more than 6mpg from the bike
Probably end up back in a 4x4 when I realise I'm too old/unfit for a bike, that'll be next week then!
Come on Chris get yer finger/money out. I want someone to show me round the plain Does no where have a pre-reg or 2nd hand bike you could take out for a test ride before buying new? Or is it a new new model?
anyone need a trim?
