  1. I would love to play as this was one of the Main events I really aspired to, but the USAF is shipping me out for good the month prior. Have Fun guys, wish you the best.
  2. Would someone be so kind as to add J.Johnson and J.Jacques to the list. D4x4 wont let me reg. for a login. This was one of the main events I really wanted to hit before I went back stateside.
  3. isnt uk xtc suppose to be a more speed event for the challenge event guys? like going fast over the "rocks" if you will. if people start bring safari cars then we just have another safari comp. not bashing just asking.
  4. ill take one, how would you like your money? thats no fun, sounds like cheating to me
  5. sweet, ill be able to make the last 2, can not wait
  6. which msa regs do we fall under?
  7. It does have "hoops" for the A and B pillar, they are just not one piece hoops. there is tons of buggys in the states built like this for xrra rock racing. now im not one to say which way is stronger, multiple straight tube or single bent tube. Id side on straight tube, like baja rigs. bent in key spots of the rig just seem to look cleaner. And for a step higher i have talked to a couple baja and rock race/crawl guys for their take on some odds and ends. for just about everyone's tech inspections, ive been told to build a strong cage with lots of triangles and gussets and ill be fine on any level. so as the crazy american monkey here, what is a "must" for the design in a cage to meet MSA spec.
  8. im deff, building for this.........
  9. Fully agree, too bad im in afghan country. Come on guys make this a go so i can atleast dream about the second round.........
  10. you basically have an upside down radius arm set up. same as RE long arm kit for jeeps. i think they just use it on the front and a true 4link with panhard bar in the rear
  11. See now your talkin fun stuff!
  12. i know its stateside, but summitracing.com have exhaust tubing that size and bigger.
  13. So let me get this right,.... neil please correct me if i am wrong. Full on speed event over all the deferent terrains kirton has to offer? Sounds like UKs first xrra, we rock, King of the Hammers event. I am so game!! Can I request a late start of June??? lol I wont be back from my military vacation till then. And when can we start sending you money.
  14. (All with a grain of Kirton MUD, as this was only my second event) I am right with KingCJ, the water was fun and interesting. But I have always loved wheeling in the water. The tight sections did teach me alot, and as BIG as KingCJs jeepis I wouldn't ask Neil for anything else. Its just more added to the event. Is there any reason that One Way sections aren't used as much? I only remember seeing 1. Big thanks to everyone that set this up, never had a problem with the marshals, or any of the crew. And tiring as it was, I am defiantly looking forward to the next.
  15. slower than yours, way toooooo slow! thanks for the info.
