Hi
I know we all like pictures I’ve been able to find some more pictures of red/yellow mog
The owner does have an account on Pirate4x4 but I curtly cant remember his user name
what a fruitcake!
-
hopefully will be there from the beginning!........... thats if i get my arse in gear!
-
Check the wardrobe, I am sure you will find enough shoes, handbags and tops with tags still on to justify a few quid on your new toy!
hahaha! well said!
the old chap would be my father.....i dare say we have enough stuff floating about for a D2 to make yours rather special.
getting the ecu would not be a problem you will just need to take to to a landy garage and get it coded to your car.
-
orrr i could ask my old chap niceley and we might be able to send you a TD5alive map on a new ECU
-

mogs are cool!
i know nothing about them but here is one that may give you ideas.
-
Back to the topic at hand - if they do go down, does that mean it may become socially acceptable to paint one's vehicle orange again?
defenatley not! the memory should die with them!
-
thought they were just downsizing
-
shame on you for considering the orange carp!!!!!!!!
try gwyn lewis 4x4 or llama4x4 . i got the rough country dampers +5"....as do many other people on this forum. there ok for articulation and there £50 a corner.
-
is it that is is going so fast that you are actually beginning to black out and arnt really sure of anything?
-
god damn it! same thing here.
if one is lurking about can you send it this way please?
-
i am a member of breckland LRC. what do you want to know?
-
heres mine with the gwyn lewis kit and x-springs. i am using standard props and a donut. back end is maxxed and the front isnt even kicking in yet and there are no problems on a 2" lift.
using standard arms aswell.
-
mike did a pretty good job
-
butters seem to be reasonably good....but for that sort of money you can buy an orange one....i forget what theyre called....kemppi maby? anyway i usedto use one of them alot and it seemed pretty good.
-
....WHAT! ...GROW SOME STONES!
-
mine....
-
pm sent.
this is our one, weve pretty much done evereything you have just said plus alot more.
-
that is one of the funniest/stupidest things i have ever heard!
-
measured it all up on my bobtail today. you will need a 3" lift and massive arch cut to fit. and around a 5" for silly suspension also the foot wells will need modding slightley aswell as the rear inner arch.
-
i think im right in saying your allowed to cut 15% of the chassis with out too much trouble....but dont hold me to that i dont remember where i heard it.
D44 have there winch cages, i bought one and made this. i know i have a bobtail but if you recessed it into the cross member and door(seen alot of 90s doing this) it will work. and its only a half a day with a grinder and welder. mines not done, some dodgy welds and a bad paint job but its not looking too bad so far.
-
dino.... good stuff mate there only good when chopped up!
-
hang about. im being thick here and diddnt read the thread properley and wasnt aware we are talking about a TD5.
my dad has 265/75 r16 on his TD5 and its fine. we worked out to fit my tyres on his he would need an arch chop. then worked out to fit 35s on it he would need a 3" lift and an arch chop. you wont have to worry about filling up the arches as they are HUGE on a D2
my point still stands. you should be fine
Look what i've just bought
