Nowhere. Just leave it.

Thanks for ideas. I think to place one wire to alarm system also. The chain around the axle is great:):)

Sorry for offtop but how do people usualy secure the winches from stealing? Weld bolts?
-
I don't know about that as I have a manual, but running with lights on, the centre cubby box can get quite warm.
I placed leds there to avoid this.

hi is it a simple job to change the oil and filter in my auto box . the box works fine with no problems . ive had it for nealy 3 years and done about 24000 in that time i can tackle most jobs on a disco ie swivels timeing belts head gaskets ect(not on this 1)on 2 i had before but this is the first auto ive had so any advice would be helpfull thanks
I;ve done this by myself. Quite easy. Be accurate and follow the instructions in book (Rave).
One tip - don't expect to drain all 10 litters from it. I've managed to drain only half of volume.

Zirconia will not work. A friend of mine already has an experience.
Titania - yes. I'm looking for them. They are produced by the NTK ceramics company and I just want to know did anybody fit Nissan's Sentra oxygen sesor and had success? 'Cause I found different results, somebody say thay work and others are saying they still had and error.

I'm going to replace my o2 sensors.
The original ones are very expensive. Here i fould the replacement from Nissan and other. http://www.rangerovers.net/rrpartsv.htm#osensor But also I found some reviews that Bosch 13021 did not work.
Does anybody has experience in replacing stock o2 sensors with Nissan's or bosch's?

A guy in our offroad club runs Boggers 35x14.5 (wich are actually only 34" tall, but still very wide). 2" suspension + 2" bodylift + arches cutting.

Tools required: HAMMER.

Wheels size?

Can't you just jack-up one side of the vehicle?
On mine I had to cut off about 5cm(2")
-
You can see how to do it here: http://www.discoweb.org/cbinstall/index.htm
Although you'll need to do some more cutting for the CB to get in since the one you have (or will buy) it's most likely to be bigger (wider) than the one used that link.
Thank you for the pics. The bad thing is that I have a sunroof:)
-
Got my CB in the bay where the sunroof control panel is (was). My landy aint got a s/rf so it's fits snug without affecting anything. Got a 3ft spring base aerial on back right hand corner above top rear door hinge.
I like the idea and I was also planing to put CB there. Please, do some more photos.

Fortune was not nice to me. I used a hammer to get it moving and to dismount from top.

Mmmm.... Ignition time?
-
Sounds like ignition. Wires, plugs to start with, coil? Oh, sorry, no coil on EFI as far as I know.

245/70/16 was OK on mine.

Following on from what Milemarker said, I have read where people have had a good result by reversing the heater hoses. Whether they were fitted incorrectly by the PO I don't know. Worth a look I suppose.
Can not believe that there is any difference how do the hoses go in or out the heater. It's just a loop of pipe in simple words. Or maybe there is some valve inside a heater which prevents air to get out? Don't think so.

Good. Will follow all recommendations given. Thank you.

That's what I do not understand, if I have air in heater, thermostat etc how will it flow to radiator? And why it did not in my case?
-
Oh, sure, I forgot, the engine is V8. But as far as I see on the pictures it's like on TDI (pretty the same).
What you did is interesting, as far as I understand you got rid of air just in radiator. I also noticed that there is air if unscrew the plug on radiator. Then if you loosen the plug on tank then the level will raise and you just place the plug back in radiator. That's what I did.
-
So I was changing the water&anti-freeze. I suppose I was doing everything correct according to the book. But now I have air in the upper pipes which go to heater. When the engine is hot they look like pretty and nice sausages because of the inner air pressure. And one of that had cracked already.
I think it's the upper point of coolant system, and I do not know how the air is going to get out of there. Is there any standard procedure that I should take to get rid of air? One told me that on some cars there is some kind of "valve" or "tap" for easing out the air from the upper point.

Must be spider as EKA code useless - quoted £50 by auto electrician to bypass - hows Kiev thia time of year - have family near Lviv
Is it a job I can easily do myself?
Cheers
Jon
£50, world crisis.... 30 minutes job actually, 60 minutes if you drink a beer.
Just got a little snow here in Kiev:) Western Ukraine is covered with snow totally in the mountains, just seen a video from there.

I had similar situation. My keyfob just died:)
So if you can not start a car with EKA code - spider. If EKA helps - dead keyfob.

Rich mixture on that side, i think.
Distributor? Injectors? I mean it fires occationaly or simply has to much fuel. But i think it's ignition problem.
