Gauges drops on rev

hello there i have defender td4 2010

and i have an issue with my gauges,when im reving all the gauges on cluster drops down and thwn goes up and some times it just wont move at all no rpm no rev whats the problem?

thanks for answer i check the belt is all good any more ideal?

Could be a shonky earth, it's often the case when more than one thing is affected. Check the earth straps (engine to chassis, chassis to battery, wiring loom to bulkhead, etc.).

You can prove suspect ones by bridging them with a jump lead, if things get better with the jump lead that's your suspect.
