The tube fits in just the same and the length seem the same - so my plan was to benefit from the better fit and double check the reading by pouring in a precise amount of oil. Anderzander Posted March 13, 2018 Share Posted March 13, 2018 I did also consider using the series set up from the 2.25 - which I think is the same part as used on the 200tdi Defender engine - but I wasn’t sure how it would fit with the manifold. There is a cheap one on eBay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253413495722 Looks like it should probably fit as it’s shorter and self supporting .. Cornish Rattler Posted March 14, 2018 Author Share Posted March 14, 2018 Yes i still have the original one but its a 200 Def one as originally the engine was a Def engine but re-dressed as a Disco engine ( damaged timing case ) with a 300 turbo / manifold now fitted.
