PeteMck
pretty much explained in the title. Ive got a V8 fuel pump/sender unit and tank out of a p38 rangie stuck in the back of the def. Think i can get around the temp sensor, however would quite like an accurate (for a def) fuel gauge so any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated! cheers guys 👍
Tobias
I have no help to offer on your question, but am curious as to what Defender you fitted it into and how? Pictures?

Will probably lose the original rangie tank as don't like the way it fits but will keep the pump unit.
Tobias
Thanks! Am redoing the back of my 130 eventually and have saved a plastic Disco1 tank I was intending on fitting. Also have a p38 tank on the way to the garbage, but that openas up more options. One of each for maximum overland range? I have all three models of tanks/senders available and 300tdi and td5 defender instruments to use for measuring. Anything specific you want me to test? PeteMck
As long as I can find a gauge that will fit in the defender dash that works with the rr sensor I'm happy. Edited November 27, 2018 by PeteMck
