BLR Posted November 24, 2020 Share Posted November 24, 2020 Hi! My dad has this Land Rover but someone took the starter motor out of it. I'm hoping somebody here can help identify the engine and starter motor required. I hope the photos can help, if you need any more information please let me know, I don't know much about vehicles so I'm hoping this is all that's needed but I can ask for more info if required. The engine is clearly a diesel , and a total stab in the dark it could be Mazda ? sort of based on where you are . I assume with it being a Series 3 V8 it is a Stage one with the defender style front end ? Maybe one of our Aussie members can throw more light on the VIN and that engine .
