CameronDef90 Posted October 26, 2021 Share Posted October 26, 2021 (edited) Hi, I’m just doing up my defender TD5 2001, and I have replaced the doors and handles, however the handles seem to be longer than what they should be, as the screw holes don’t line up? Am I doing something wrong? Or are there different sized handles? Edited October 26, 2021 by western title made more relevant to subject. Mo Murphy Posted October 27, 2021 Share Posted October 27, 2021 There is a notch at the square button end of the handle that needs to engage with the rear edge of the square cut out in the door skin. Your forward hole should then line up. Some aftermarket handles may still need the handle tweaking to get the front hole to fully line up.
