Malnajjar
Good Day everyone, i was wondering if there is any solution for the high steering wheel of the defender 2016 ? if not would a smaller steering wheel would be useful?
western
The column cannot be lowered, but a smaller diameter steering wheel could be fitted, but you will need a adaptor for the column & new steering wheel.
Malnajjar
Keeping in mind that im 5.2 so it is a bit of struggle with the og steering wheel, and should install mud rail to get some clearance on the vision
western
The Mudstuff seat rails would raise your seat base by approx 25mm, which would put the top of your legs closer to existing steering wheel & increase your line of sight through screen to. This page is LR steering wheels only https://www.web-rover.co.uk/articles-steeringwheels.html There are plenty of after market ones as well, I think Mudstuff have some & the adaptor. Maverik
I've had a small steering wheel for the past 10 years. - conversely I have long legs, and used to find the driving position a bit cramped. A smaller wheel doesn't effect your driving experience.
