williams31 Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Can someone please help me the windscreen on my freelander is misted up when i come to drive it on further inspection i have found water under the carpet in the drivers footwell . The passenger side is dry and the back, I cannot see any leaks around the door seal or the windscreen nor is the rear washer pipe leaking as this runs along the drivers side floor any help would be gratefully received Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BogMonster Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 check it is not the air con drains blocked, not sure where they are on a Freelander but it would almost certainly cause windscreen misting and soggy footwells. aircon cools the air and removes moisture and the moisture would normally drain out underneath, if the drain tube gets blocked or kinked then the water has to go somewhere!
