eddie c Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 Hi all, I seem to have what I consider to be excessive travel on my brake pedal, brakes seem to work ok but you do have to put a lot of pressure on the pedal. BogMonster Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 How much is a lot? I mean like a bit more than usual or "lifting your butt out of the seat" more than usual? Probably some problem with either the vacuum pump or the brake servo unit. On 30)Tdi Defenders, the servos split around the mounting bolts and loose vacuum that way but I'm not aware of it being a problem with Discoverys.
