FridgeFreezer
B&Q near me (Segensworth) have reduced their "Everything £1" stand to 25p which means you can buy 20 rivets, or 2x 500W floodlight bulbs, or 3x 12V halogens for your X-Lites, or an IP54 switch, or a load of coloured cable ties for 25p. I reckon that's got to be worth a pop. Also, rather unlikely but Wickes have started selling car stuff - and are turning out cig lighter splitters for £2.89 - that's a plug, a load of cable and a 3-way surface-mount socket for £3 which again isn't bad value in my book. I also got some Kamasa screwdrivers for £3 in Halfords bargain bin - they're shoddily made (plastic handles are poorly moulded) but they are "shaft-through" which means they have a metal cap on the top attached to the shaft so you can tw*t them with a hammer and the handle doesn't disintegrate. Ideal for a bit of persuasion, and cheap enough not to matter.
