BogMonster
Don't know what an N plate is but guessing about 1996 (N plate here will be about 2040 at the current rate of progress ) If it has the 2 button alarm plip and is a 1996 model year (vin number ends in TAxxxxxx) the aerial is just a wire along the top of the speedo binnacle. The plip range on all these vehicles is pretty poor and there was an upgrade of some sort later on but I never did find out if it could be retro-fitted - my old 1996 model year Discovery was terrible but so are they all. Some time in about 97 they upgraded something and it works from miles away in the later ones. They are also quite susceptible to RF interference from transmitters close by. Stephen337
Push the blipper up against your head and press the button to extend the range..... ....trust me it works.
