JSG
When I bought the 110 I decided against paying the price the dealer wanted to bolt a tow bar to the back and decided to wait and look at the options. Now I seem to recall reading something about approvals etc for towing equipment fitted after a certain date - is this as simple as buying a tow bar with the correct stickers and fitting yourself (not hard to a 110) or is it supposed to be fitted by an approved installer only these days? I'm also assuming that these days even a Defender has the connector in the wiring loom for the towing electrics to be simply plugged in. Can anyone clarify the above? Cheers, John.
