s2hotdog
Hi all I'm after getting a winch sail made by a yachting type sail/cover maker - but need some rough dimensions/sizes also are they weighted ? If all works out ok he might be interested making some more at a cost - I will have to ask a see what he says - so anybody help. I know that I can buy one but am hoping to get one made on the cheap - have been thinking of using an old yellow cotton curtain - but this will not last long Of course anybody have one sitting in thier garage they don't want - I'd be interested Cheers Steve
FridgeFreezer
We sell them at club meets for £12, I can't imagine how much cheaper you can get?
Astro_Al
I'm after getting a winch sail made by a yachting type sail/cover maker In my experience, anything with the word 'yacht' or 'boat' in it automatically squares the price, and that definitely includes cover-makers. I second Fridge's suggestion. Al.

FridgeFreezer
Sure thing, I'll bring one with - there are the "budget" £12 jobbies and the deluxe heavier-weight "challenge" ones for £25 (apparently some challenges specify a minimum weight).
