Fish13 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Hi, Am going to be changing out my bushes on a 1988 RRC for Deflex ones. Are there any specific torque values when doing the nuts back up (on the rear of the hockey sticks for example)? Any others? I'm using new bolts throughout. Or just nip them up tight? Quote
Highway_Star Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 One of the green bibles would tell you. I usually just do 'em up 'kin tight. Quote
Fish13 Posted October 31, 2007 Author Posted October 31, 2007 Thanks Highway Star, I'll do them up 'neck vein throbbing tight' and then recheck in a day or so. Quote
Jon White Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I just did mine up with the rattle gun until they wouldnt do up any more. IMHO anything other than new geniune landrover bushes are a waste of money. Deflex/polybush/whateveryouwanttocallems are not a good, or worthwhile upgrade. Jon Quote

Jon Just curious, I know people say the polybush ones are special, but what do you think are so special about the genuine Land Rover ones? Quote
