ozzie1989
Forgive me for asking (I have searched) but can anyone tell me if you can access the wiring void within the dash of my 2004 Defender without dropping the air-con module off the bottom of the dash? When I fit my wing tops, I will be fitting a new aerial and want to run the cable through where the existing aerial cable goes but cannot seem to access it as it is behind the dash... normally you can just take the bottom of the dash off right? Trouble is air-con unit is in the way I'll also need to access again when running cables for lamps etc. in the new year. Any ideas? Cheers again... western
You can move the instrument pack towards the steering wheel & feed the new aerial cable through from the engine bay side & then to the radio in the centre panel, no need to disturb the lower part of the dash or air con unit.
