sorry lads but thats a late pump with the lecky stop solenoid,

from here even with my squinty vision i can see a throttle cable

What he said.

I think that may be an EGR and immobiliser pump definately not an EDC one. The bit on the end of the throttle spindle can be removed and binned if it is. I think the immobilsor part can be fudged to bypass it but I don't know for sure.

Pete.

The bit in the first photo is the immobiliser module.

If you're swopping the pump over to a non-immobilised model. In the recesses are 2 shear off bolts. Drill a 3-4mm hole in each one and tap in a torx drive (star-shaped bit) and undo to remove them. Underneath you'll find a normal stop solenoid.

If you need to remove the immobiliser module due to electrical problems.

One of the 3 wires going to the immobiliser module is an ignition feed, just trim the wire and add a ring connector, then fit to solenoid. Job done. ;)

Oh and seeing as nobody else has mentioned it, it's a Bosch one.
