candpdoyle Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 Hi There I was wondering if any of you are aware of a replacement filter for the fuel pick up?? I seem to be have ing some troubles since i started useing bio diesel and the system gets blocked every now and again.. I have fitted a sedimentor which helped, but then the lift pump got blocked, so i found one of the old style pumps with the glass bowl sedimetor, and that has helped... but do occasionaly lose power(what little there is) and it seems to be bits in the pick up removing and blowing through clears it up for a while. candpdoyle Posted December 27, 2007 Author Share Posted December 27, 2007 No.. it is bought from a local supplier, BUT i used to use wvo in a 50/50 mix with diesel for about 8 months before my injector pump developed several leaks so i think a lot of bits may still be in the tank... althogh i did try and clean out as much as possible last month I do think it will eventually sort it self out, was just wondering about an in tank filter??
