gsgtsg
My Discovery II year 2000 Petrol V8 has been experiencing a coolant leak. The coolant reservoir level dropped by an inch every 400 miles or in a week driving in town. I have had it pressure tested and the garage said that the leak is from the component that I have ‘circled’ in green on the attached pictures. The component is in the location where the white arrow points on the full engine photo. Please advice: 1) What this component is called 2) What is its function Thank you. pinkbeef
I had the same problem with an Audi, remove the hoses that go into the heat exchange and get enought hose to bypass them. Or cap both ends off where they join the heat exchange.
