COLVERT Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Hi guys, i have a 3.9 litre and have lack of power when reved at 2000rpm on loads. It seems like it misfires. I changed ecu already but was the same. Changed d ignition module aswell and no change. I dont know y it is done only on 2000rpm only. Any one can help.????? V8 Freak Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Do you have a distributor ?? Check vacuum advance.. If stuck / not working may have a negative effect under load. If youhave a system that's a tad fragile, it may be the last straw giving you 7 - 10 degrees advance instead of 20+ !!! Also have a look at fuel filter if fitted and maybe check out fuel pump..
