wkw90
Just taken the rear tub off and looking at the fuel tank , its just sitting on its cage should there be so kind of strap to hold it in place ?
Guest diesel_jim
110's definately do, i've just fitted one to mine, but looking on microcat it doesn't show a part number for a strap for the 90's... strange. it must be held in with the bottom of the rear tub? Mo Murphy
I've found this in microcat (no. 12) but I can't see how it fits Surely the tank can't be just sandwiched between the bash plate and the tub, can it ? Paul, you can quite clearly see the breather vent pipe on there as well . Mo
Petergg
It's all mine had the tub and a few bits of foam. it's not as if it can go any where.
wkw90
Yep see that Mo , so just need a new 1 . I can't believe that tank is not held down with some kind of strap ...
Mo Murphy
I suspect that you can probably make one Paul, as you'll be taking all your breathers up to the top of your snorkel anyway. Mo
tiddler
Yep see that Mo , so just need a new 1 . I can't believe that tank is not held down with some kind of strap ... The tank is "held down" by the body tub above. It is "held up" by the skid plate underneath. The chassis longitudinals stop it falling out of either side. Three or four foam discs wedged down the sides stop it rattling. What more does it need? I have never heard of one coming adrift.
