jason_landy99
what's the biggest tyre you can fit on a 8x16 rim
Young bobtail Rhys
It all depends on how tall the tyre is really. You can run a 12.5" wide tyre on it well but I have seen upto 14" wide tyres on them but that was 37" tall. What size are you planning on running? plasticbadger
I'm running 37x12.5x16 on a 8x16 rim, but i've now added diy beadlocks, which bring the rim out to about 9 1/2" wide. Fit fine with out the beadlocks though. The taller the side wall, the wider you can get away with.
BogMonster
Of the "standard" sizes you should get a 305/70R16 or 315/75R16 on but check the manufacturers minimum rim width - it might be 8.5" which insurers might not like.
