warning brake light

arrrrggghhh. i have a problem thats slowly driving me mad :angry:

wonder if anyone can help. i have a 110 csw. the red light on my dash comes on now and again when i brake. its as if the peddle goes a little lower thn normal and the warning light comes on. it doesnt do this all the time. i have checked all the pads and shoes and they are like new..... :blink: ...i have bleed the system aswell but now and again the light comes on :unsure:

any advice would be brilliant

depending on your 110's age it'll either be the master cylinder cap float switch [low fluid level] or the PDWA switch is faulty, this is located on the front of the footwell drivers side of engine bay below the brake servo bolted to the vertical face, just follow the brake pipes & black/white trace wiring to the switch.
