Graham Thomson
Just in case the insurers dont let me have my 110 truck back..........I've started to scout for a replacement..... Anyone with a 2.5 diesel 110 CSW care to tell what mpg they get? Supplementary - can you LPG convert a diesel?

Young bobtail Rhys
Right, not sure how correct I am here but, you can't convert a diesel to run primarily on LPG but you can get it to run on a combination of both, which (again not sure) should help the engine run more efficient and burn all of the diesel going in. As a result more mpg and more horsepower. Or did I just make the whole lot up? Someone on here should know. HTH Rhys
66gaza
I am sure it can be done by drilling and tapping holes to add spark plugs amongst many other things and it is very expensive but i'm sure engines with spark plugs that run on gas already exist As has been said you can add propane to the intake of a diesel engine to add power and aid economy but be careful a little is good too much is very bad as it in effect increases timing which will blow Hgs at best and big ends at worse. Jens
I get around 400 miles on a full tank on my TD5 110 35" running it on kerosene. Don't know about diesel, haven't used it for months.
