sheppy
hi does anyone have a close up pic of how the light bar attaches to the gutters/roof as i am thinking of fabricating one. Thanks
Scotian
My mate is fabricating them now and then for mates. I will try and get you a better pic than this but basicly he puts the "feet" in the gutter and puts two bolts right through the "feet" and the gutter holding it in place. Sorry the pic isnt very usefull. I'll take a better one if I see him tomorrow.
disco tony
Too dark for piccie now but simply drill through gutter and bolt through. Two holes each side. if you still need a picture, reply and I can try to get one posted up tomorrow.
LCJ
The Impulse 4x4 one that I have has nuts welded into the brackets that come down into the gutters. The bolts then thread upwards from the bottom of the gutter into the nut. A bit fiddly at first but it's rock solid now. Can get pics at the w/end if you need. Mark
My Discovery one, and the one we fitted to Orange's rangie were the same as has already been described - two holes, hold in place and drill trough the gutter. Bolts were fitted upside down, ie the nuts were on the top, so that the door would still close. hth Mark
