Chriso
Hi, Just guessing here, the rumbling is similar to big end bearings showing signs of wear. Perhaps it disapeares when the enigine is warm due to oil pressure and machine tollerances. Is it a V8? What is the milage and service history like? Best wishes Chris. Hybrid_From_Hell
thanks for reply im using 15/40 oil .i serviced it about 2 months ago the milage is 110.000. i thought about putting thicker oil in .wot u think? 15/40 (and if not a very high quality one) is too thin IMHO for a 110,000+ V8 engine Serioulsy ...........Try a oil filter change and some 20/50W Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil. Then report back. I swear by the stuff, recomended by those who know far more re V8s than I prob ever will Nige
