Defender Air Conditioning

Recommended Posts

I now have a defender with aircon and am finding that all the cold air comes out of the 2 vents towards the passenger side of the vehicle with very little air coming out the drivers side vents. Is this normal?

Today wasnt that warm but I am thinking that maybe if we get a summer it might be nice to have bit more actually blowing at me.

I need to check the clips on the vent as today when I switched it to the max position the vent launched itself across the vehicle.

I dont know if its set up the same inside but my 1985 90 (no aircon), i get much cooler air from the passenger side than the driver side when running the heater. I dont know if this has got anything to do with your problem but thought I would say incase it sets any bells ringing...

All normal, if you have no passenger shut off the vents on the side, either full left or right (can't remember).

The vent should just push back in, on 2 plastic lugs, they will often come out if they have been knocked by knees etc.

Mark.
