Underdog
Ay up chaps, I need some assistance, I hope somebody can help. I am in desperate need of a part number for a 96, 300Tdi Discovery. The item in question is the coolant gasket that goes between the main block and the casting at the back of the water pump housing. This is the same casting that holds the power steering pump, the fan belt tensioner and the water pump itself. Gasket appears to be roughly triangular and with about 2" sides and may also have a "leg" from the top point. I can't seem to find a part number anywhere and the job must be completed tomorrow so any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance. cipx2
It is called "P gasket", part# PET100790 (old part# ERR2378) and there's a link in the tech archive index on how to replace it. P.S. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=7547
allegedly
Hi underdog. Not sure if you've tried this but there's a parts catalogue pdf file in the tech section, same place as the workshop manual. Hope this is of help. Rob
