SolihullBeast
Having decided to convert my 110 to a 100" i have been told I will need to scrap the old 110 fuel tank and fit a 90 fuel tank under the drivers side undercarriage , being a fairly novice mechanic how is this done? are a any common problems with doing this? what type of tank (part number) will I need? is there a bracket available? Sorry if this question is asked a lot on the forum, I haven't found a recent topic about it, any advice would be great, Cheers Sam
western
or start with a unmodded Discovery or RR chassis with the right wheelbase already done, note once built it will need a SVA if intentions to use it as a normal everyday road vehicle
Guest diesel_jim
You'll need the little Y shaped bracket that bolts to the bulkhead outrigger, part n. NRC9474, and a new tubular outrigger to support the back of the tank. you can either buy the outrigger as a weld on part STC8648 or just use a piece of round tube.
