Geepers
Hi all, got a 2000 freelander TD4es automatic and been having probs for the last 6 (six!) stressful months now with it not starting from warm, from cold after it has stood for a while it starts 1st time every time but after as little as a five min run up to the shop and back it just don't want to know. I was advised by the local garage that ''it's definatley the injectors'' which I've had changed with no joy! Can anyone help before i put a bloody match to the thing and call it a day?? Thanks in advance.

BogMonster
Yep cam sensor would be my guess too. The couple I have seen seem to break down when they get hot. Good news is it is easy to change

dwillcocks
sometimes your can get your cam sensor back to life, by frezzing it then refiting quick and trying to turn the engine over. But you well need to buy a new one, just this test helps u fault find. Dan
