The RR diff will be a 10 spline halfshaft, not sure about the Discovery at that age, at some point around then it changed from 10 to 24 spline. If it is a 10 spline diff it should go straight in if you are changing the whole thing, if it is a 24 spline then you would need new halfshafts etc.

As Mr Monster has said - depends on the year of your Discovery... The k-plate disco I had was a 10spline rear axle, so yes, that should fit fine - best to count the splines on the end of the halfshaft to be sure tho.
