scooby Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 ok folks this may seem lazy but it's about speed is it safe to remove and refit the 2 connection plugs from the ecu on my td5 to check for oil in the loom while the battery is still connected ? the fact that i do not have the radio code is the reason and it would mean having to go to the main steelers with the log book and may even have to pay , i tried to fit the job in this weekend but hav'nt had time , if i know there's oil in the loom it's still in warranty as i've only had it a month so the garage can deal with it if it has , plus i will know for a fact there's oil in the loom that way they wont be able to fob me off and they can get the code for the radio TOPIC SHOULD READ ECU , SORRY Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
