draper40
Hey, I recieved my pair of refurbed 200tdi injection pumps yesterday and spent this morning refitting one. It looks very good but now because the defender front case is on the block, the pump is at a different angle. This means the rear supporting bracket from the disco no longer fits. Is there one for the defender? If so what is the part number and where is it avaliable from? Thanks Pete P.s. does anyone want a refurbed spare 200tdi injection pump or know of anyone who does? western
Brackets are shown on here, the item 2 'NSS' = Not sold seperately & not listed with a part number either bolt the pump to the timing case first & set the timng, then fit the rear bracket, if the rear brackets are tightened first it can pull the injection pump out of line, that's how my zues gears got broke a few years ago. draper40
Thanks western, shame it's not sold. Any ideas as to an alternatiove. I could use the disco one and put a piece of steel bracket between the 2 holes as there is a space between them. Is a gasket really nescessary? I just used some hylamar. Is it possible to get a lift pump gasket separatley or is that a corn flakes job? Pete Edit: I just had a look at the diagram and what i need is number 5, the bracket that goes on the block. Part number ERR1662. Any ideas where to get it?
western
only place I would try is a LR breaker such as Equicar or CWS or Craddocks salvage, but I think most would be sold with the engine, so might be difficult to find. Is it possible to get a lift pump gasket separatley or is that a corn flakes job? you need to keep & reuse the plastic spacer block & fit 2 new gaskets to it, just been out in my garage & found I've got 2 lift pump gaskets here you can have, just PM your postal address.
