RichardAllen
I am looking at a Goodwinch TDS, not least because of an number of posts on here recommending them for what I want - greenlaning, occasionally more ambitious off-roading, but not competition. Are there any pro's and con's reagrding a low profile model v a bridge model. I would be fitting it onto a 300TDi 90 probably on one of their BRB Defender bumpers. ? All advice gratefully received as always.
western
if the low profile comes with detachable solenoids, fit them under the bonnet [behind left headlight on top of inner wing] that will keep them dry.
Orange
As Ralph says, the main benefit with the 'low profile' version is the detatchable solenoids. If you are only using it ocasionally, you'll want them tucked away out of the weather so that they are not exposed to the weather. Bowyers Goldfish version has sealed solenoids, but it's still good practice to put them out of the way! That reminds me..........must do mine!!
