yellow
Bought some tires off an auction and only when home I realized that the center opening (Where the hub pokes through) is too big for a Defender. This one is 13 cms across, or 5.1 inch in 'old money' Anyone know which 4x4 these wheels would fit? Tire size is 33x12.50R15 BFG AT
Pete Attryde
Are they steels or alloys? If they are aftermarket steel wheels (modulars etc) the centre hole is larger and does not use the hub centre to position the wheel. This is done by the tapers on the wheel nuts. A photo would probably help . Pete.
yellow
They are steels, but the 5 holes around the center hole are placed further apart than the Defender could accept. Pic for your pleasure
bishbosh
You need to measure the pcd - the diameter of the circle that goes through the five bolt holes. I would suspect they are for something Japaneese....
pugwash
hmm majority of Jap stuff is 6 hole late Yota and nissan is 5 hole stuff but i woulnd't expect to find white 8 spokes for them! isn't Suzuki stuff 5 hole?
yellow
Zuk is 5 hole, but I have not seen Zuks with fat 255s like these... I'll probably buy 'new' 15 inch rims and swap the tires over. Might make things easier...
